A lifelong student of the moving arts, Catherine spent her formative years studying a variety of martial arts (Muay Thai, Aikido, Eskrima, Wushu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). In 2007 she discovered Belly dance and life changed somewhat! Beginning with Egyptian style, she was drawn to Tribal in 2009 and has been obsessed ever since.

Catherine has travelled the world to follow her passion for dance. She spent two years studying in Milan with Les Soeurs Tribales and with Olivia Mancino. Over the years Catherine has studied with some of the greatest dancers in this art form, including Amy Sigil (Unmata), Mira Betz, Tjarda (The Uzume), Anasma, Samantha Emanuel, Rachel Brice,  Mardi Love and Suhaila Salimpour.

In 2011 Catherine began to broaden her horizons, studying a number of other dance forms, most significantly: Contemporary dance, Ballet and Polynesian dance. 2012 saw her begin training in Silvestre Technique and Orixa dance movement, and she now attends the annual month-long intensive in Brazil every January.

Despite her passion for learning anything new, Catherine remains committed to her first love: Belly dance. She continues to study this beautiful art form in London and around the world. She is a regular performer of Tribal and Tribal Fusion Belly dance, as well as Oriental Bellydance and Folkloric Middle Eastern dance. Since 2012 she has been a member of the Londoan Algerian Ballet, performing Folkloric dances from around Algeria.
